Issue Description: Porter-𝗧𝗵𝗲 hashtag#𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗺 Behind the “Safe” Logistics Brand.
Yes you read it right,I was scammed in the name of safety,trust and service.On 2nd May,I booked PRIVATE truck on Porter to move my belongings from Delhi to Bangalore.I paid huge amt of around 50k+to ensure my items are transported in private vehicle separately and with safety.
I’d like to highlight their 1st most step in scam-you know they didn’t let me pay through app,they made me pay on driver’s gpay!
Let me explain why-because a payment through app would contain all the details and transparency like private vehicle or public,the amount paid,the driver name,vehicle no etc.
So inorder to scam people Porter MAKES PEOPLE PAY FOR PRIVATE BUT ACTUALLY TRANSPORTS THEIR GOODS IN PUBLIC TRUCK! This is how they are earning a huge profit of 40K+ by ripping money off of people!
What happened was-
Porter employee Pavan packed everything and lied that “Sumit” (the driver) would take it directly to Bangalore,for 4 days,no updates.By 7th May, no one picked up my 20+calls.Their customer care team was of no help.Suddenly I’m told-
“We just picked it up. We don’t know where it is now.”
Excuse me? You don’t know where a truck with ALL my belongings is?
They never even informed me my things got burned cause then they would have to reveal that they sent it through public transport not private which would count as a fraud on their end!.I booked private but they sent in a public truck,with 3 other people’s good ,WITHOUT informing me.That’s 1/6 the cost but I was charged full.This is cheating and fraud!
10th May,Porter “manager” calls me and says “Ma’am truck caught fire,Some of your boxes are completely burnt.”
They sent No photo,no video ,NOTHING and when I pushed them for evidence , they sent me 1 video & 2 mismatching pics with none including my things!
15th May,truck finally arrives in Bangalore and guess what-2 of my important boxes are MISSING,worth 85k+ and how conveniently they told it’s are missing with no accountability,So now I’m paying the price for your negligence AND fraud?
“Sorry, we don’t have proper pics of fire, Sorry, we can only offer 7k per box.”
That’s your sorry for destroying items worth over 85k?
Their slogan says:”Safety ki Shart Lagi–100% Safe Shifting,or 5 Lakh Return”
Reality-No reimbursement without begging and follow-ups,customer care team is rude and useless,made 20+calls each day,missed office,even after all this they said no idea,also the manager assigned to me was so rude,he would either hang up or talk so rudely that it made me wonder what kind of values this company even holds to have such rude and unpleasant employee,who instead of understand and empthazing,kept lying,twisting,covering and hanging up the call!
It’s shame these companies like Porter thrive on customer’s money by lying, malpractice and fraud and they think they can get away with this!
To everyone reading this,DO NOT trust Porter.

Company’s Response: Yes, But my loss is 85k+ plus the extra 35k they have charged for the service which they frauded me. offering me just 7k for each box.
