Issue Description: I usually don’t post on LinkedIn, but something strange and extremely disturbing happened to me recently, and I’m still shaken by it. After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to share this incident.

A few days ago, I received a message on LinkedIn from someone named Sandeep Kumar, who claimed to be working at IndusInd Bank as a Regional Manager (as per his LinkedIn profile). He messaged me asking, “Are you looking for a job opportunity?” and inquired about my current and expected CTC.

Since I had applied to several roles, I assumed this might be a genuine lead. I shared my resume and contact number with him.

Today in the afternoon, he called me. He asked about my work portfolio and then confidently said, “Your job is confirmed. I’ll assign you to any branch in Delhi NCR with a good designation and a good Hike.”

This immediately raised a red flag. I wondered: How is my job confirmed without a proper interview process?

Then came the most shocking part. He said, “But for this opportunity, I’ll need some personal favours from your end.”

I was stunned and asked him again, “Sorry sir, I didn’t understand.”
To which he replied, “Main apne muh se kuch nahi bolna chahta, personal favours matlab aap samjho.”
He added, “It’ll be a one-time thing only. I’ll get you whatever salary you’re asking.”

How casually he said “one-time thing only”, as if it meant nothing.

I immediately raised my voice, hung up the call, and blocked him.

One question still haunts me: How can someone say or even think of such a thing?

This was deeply disturbing and has left me shaken. I’m writing this to strongly urge IndusInd Bank to investigate this person and take strict action. I don’t know if I’m the only one who has gone through this or if there are other women who’ve faced similar harassment from him, but this cannot be ignored.

I’m attaching his LinkedIn profile for reference.
IndusInd Bank, please take immediate and strict action.

Date of Incident: 7/9/2025

Company’s Response: I have posted on linkedin hoping to get a response from IndusInd Bank but didn’t get it.
