Complaint Summary:

He ordered a baby boy dress from Flipkart and was charged a total of ₹1,199, which includes ₹48 shipping. However, the invoice inside the package showed only ₹995, raising immediate concerns about pricing transparency.
What Happened:
- The initial invoice inside the package reflected ₹995, not the full amount paid.
- Upon contacting Flipkart customer support, he was told by a representative (Ms. Diksha) that he received a partial invoice, and the full one would be sent within 24 hours.
- A new invoice was sent via email but it still showed ₹995, not ₹1,199.
- This has raised concerns about incorrect invoicing and overcharging.
Customer’s Demand:
Kumar Himanshu is now requesting:
- A refund of ₹204, which is the difference between the amount paid and the invoice value.
- A proper explanation for why billing discrepancies exist on such a large platform.
He also directly addressed Flipkart CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy, asking him to look into how sellers and support teams handle such cases, implying potential manipulation or systemic fraud.
Our View:
If this allegation is correct, Flipkart must immediately:
- Investigate this seller for invoice fraud or misreporting
- Provide the customer with a correct GST invoice
- Refund the ₹204 overcharged amount
Transparent billing is not optional it’s a legal obligation and a matter of consumer trust.
